This historic building had to be completely gutted and re-finished from the ground up to activate the energy of this space. Limitations fuelled creativity on this tight budget project, and the end product sings for itself. Creating a black back drop for interior design elements, such as lighting design, bar design and wall coverings, allowed this room transformation to come together in a sophisticated, fun way. The Kim h nieu Interior Design furniture selection for Karaoke Kong was colourful and here, the design team, had the opportunity to show off their creativity by creating one of-a-kind motifs on the table tops by graffitiing each top with a different music genre and using iconography to communicate these ideas, making this messaging unique for this exciting retail design.
