Locally Maufactured Furniture Compliments Lodge Style Home

Having done two previous homes in this Private Game Reserve, Kim h nieu Interior Design was requested to bring new life to a very unique lodge style home. This residential design consists of 5 separate structures joined to create a magnificent 4-bedroom home overlooking the Olifants River.

Careful attention was given to source only locally manufactured furniture pieces to suit the true nature of its location. New flooring options were decided on to compliment the natural environment of this luxury lodge inspire home. The colour schemes chosen introduced colours, hues and tones that emphasised elements of nature making this home feel relaxed and unpretentious, allowing for nature to take centre stage to flatter these outstanding views. Bathroom designs were to reinforce the tranquillity of the Olifants River while enjoying the sounds of nature when relaxing in a bathtub that overlooks this beautiful piece of nature. Home décor and interior styling assisted the Kim h nieu Interior Design team to achieve a natural and soft yet impactful end product.
