Very few homes can compare to this space, designed in a modern cathedral style this home included everything from a 200sqm personal study, furniture selection sourced from France, a front and back of house kitchen design with a walk in fridge and freezer, high tech home cinema design, climate controlled wine cellar design, chef level alfresco kitchen design, underground garage with hydraulic lifts, two guest houses, to a main bedroom design with its own personal gym, dressing room with custom cabinetry , bathroom designs and sauna all overlooking 600 000 litres of custom designed koi ponds. The window treatments in this home needed to achieve two functions.
The first being, the concept of allowing as much light into the home so as to accentuate the high ceiling, double volume created by the structure while, secondly, softening the space with sheers and where necessary, in more private spaces, sheers and block-outs. This creates interest and transforms the space where conventionally most, if not all windows would receive a treatment. Here, the Kim h nieu Interior Design team, opted for more of an aesthetic appeal to equip this lifestyle home with more than just the artificial.
