Re-envisioned Rosebank Fire Station the Flagship Corpotate Office

The Rosebank Fire Station in Johannesburg, South Africa, was renovated and re-envisioned, and PSG Wealth, being the first corporate in this newly redesigned building, commissioned Kim h nieu Interior Design to create a corporate flagship office for this financial consulting firm. Including in the briefing session, PSG Wealth wanted the design team to conceptualize around old Johannesburg mining history without being overly opulent.

The space is surrounded by spectacular views of the city which informed the decision of the Kim h nieu Interior Design team to have no solid partitions in this space allowing for the views to creep into the overall space, creating what one could describe as free art. Space planning and interior architecture gave way to plush flooring option that elevated the office space giving it an understated textured while furniture selections layered this office with hint and notes of luxury. The colour scheme, custom cabinetry, lighting design, and wall coverings chosen for this bespoke office space further reinforced the seriousness of business transaction that would take place in luxury, office design.
